Yeah they are really nice however no way I would pay the current asking price for one. Dealers are asking $25k+ over sticker, $50k is no unheard off.

Here's a pic of a dealer asking for $75k over sticker :<>

edit: oops that picture was a bit big, here' a smaller copy.

Mate; you're in for a REAL shock then if we were to guestimate their cost over HERE; landed, taxes & duties paid AND converted to Right Hand Drive!!!

I wouldn't pay the current asking price either. If the car includes any sort of "market adjustment" on the invoice, it ain't for me.

I'd rather:

a) wait or

b) send an ordinary C6 coupe or Z06 to Callaway, MTI Racing, Katech or Lingenfelter and then have the interior done by a posh specialist.

The cockpit design is inconsistent with the rest of the car.

Using identical low-cost materials, they could have designed something dramatic. What a ridiculous own goal by General Motors.

Although it's nothing to write home about, I could live with that interior just to get my hands on the beast.

The leather trim interior is a $10k option.

Q: What does the owner who has everything purchase?
A: A ZR1 badged trailer to tow it in.
