Here's a sneak peak at a 72 project nearing the finish of the paint , be a couple of weeks before it can go home for the re-build,

yeah it was just a quick snap, the reflections don't help ,but man ,the whole car is kind of a history of the USA .

on the far left, that's the raising of the flag in the south pacific during WW2. The Battle of Iwo Jima. Very famous photo.

he put stubby bolts in the frame mounts to act as guides and to keep the shims from moving off centre , worked a treat ,

just keep the holes centred on the way down and you cant be too far out ,

time for a beer or two .its not lined up properly yet but that's easy enough to do tomorrow . main objective was to get it on ,so a good day was had.
