painter man had to shift his paint booth and as of yesterday has got it running again , apparently he should get started on mine this week :-x he has a gorgeous 69 Camaro that he was supposed to do first but the guy let mine go first.

big difference steve... bazz has put an LS1 motor in.. did the rack and pinion conversion.. full tear down and body off.. new this.. new that... rust repair etc etc etc.. he didnt just take out the carpet and not bother after that... :)

this thread was started about 3 months after I started working on the car.

just to give an example of WASTED TIME on this project , the "expert " I hired to do the steering installation took 6 months to do it and I ended up having to rebuild the bloody thing myself , I also had to wait almost a year for the wiring to be finished off.

Now the paint is overdue from the original time quote, but its ok as I don't believe any tradesman now , s**t happens

True Nev, all the custom stuff just eats up the time , when I do the 69 im not going to put anything back in it just a steering wheel and a seat :-o

So far so good, the pieces look better up close, im really happy with it all so far.

Also James the airbrush guy was there so I had a talk with him about some graphics which will go on before the clear coat. :)

took these this morning , tomorrow will have another look as it will be all blue with the art work on as well by now , I was going to go and have a look tonight but there is a big bush fire up that area and all the roads are blocked and its just too hard to get there tonight .

Thanks Scott so did I , we did talk about satin clear at one time .

but Im real happy with this finish on it , I think it looks alright
