Hey Dually, beautiful ride. I especially like the color! :-o
I had the Magnaflow 15884's on my car when it was new, just a little too much drone on my vert for my old ears. So I finally settled on Corsa's, do you have a drone issue? Maybe it's different on the coupe???
:o :o :o :o :o

Gidday 'Ragtopman'; Nice to see you posting something at last! :-x

I have Magnaflows on my C4, but obviously a different design; has a nice warm note but not annoying resonance (Except in my garage where I FINALLY worked out once, it was all the plumbers conduit I have stacked up high, VIBRATING and making a God awful sound!) hehehehe

...Sounded like my alternator was about to fly apart, so you can IMAGINE MY RELIEF when I finally tracked down the noise!

Yep, I know. Busy, busy, busy. I like your site a lot, I see a lot of familiar names. I've known about the site for a while and been trying to get down here. I'll try to contribute "something" now and then. :) :)

As I said I've had the exhaust system on that Dually has and it's actually kind of an interesting story, I might just link the whole damn thread from a different site(if that's allowed0 It might be helpful for C6 members trying to make their vettes ound like a vette and not an Impala!!!!!

...Maybe try and isolate exactly WHERE the resonance is coming from Geno; it may not especially BE the new mufflers that are to blame - it could be that the harmonics that are annoying the hell out of you may be coming from two plastic pieces touching and with the new exhaust note frequency, they're causing this issue now, whereas before, the exhausts vibrated at a different frequency...

It may also be an exhaust hanger or bracket vibration or even a shield over your cats vibrating.

Incidentally (not that this is a solution, rather; it's an interesting scientific fact that fits right in here); did you know that if you have a 'noise' and amplify it and play it back in real time at the same decibel level; it cancels out the original sound; thereby effectively MUTING both the original and the played back sound, rendering both silent.

Well, I don't know anything, except it doesn't drone with the Corsa set up. An interesting side note is that the drone diminished substantially with a passenger in the car???????????????

Its your floor panels reverberating the sound.

Sounds like the right answer to me; Maybe the balsa wood sandwich floor has become loose at some point (I don't know how they're anchored)
