Nothing really, but it has a hell of alot to do with your previous statement. Building the engine from bottom up is only one of the things thats needed, building the drivetrain tough enough to take the engine is quite another. Series 4 Corvette drivetrains leave alot to be desired if its a factory automatic, anything over stock power on an LT1 and its not going to last long.

Oh OK; I see your intended point...NOW!; You kind of lost us there for a while !!! One second we were suddenly talking about engine building, and then shot off into a different direction again, then 'MAXX' & I went on yet ANOTHER tangent about Chinese food and eggs! :-x THEN we get back to drive trains!

I think we've successfully strayed quite FAR from Donny’s question, so let's change course and steer for the correct island before we end up washed up on one!
:-x :D

I think we washed up on one bloody ages ago here mate, but before we stop here, what do woks and dogs have to do with chinese food? (i know about woks, but see no connection for dogs or what they would be doing in a wok)

:-o ...It's an old (half) joke, that some Chinese restaurants use dog meat in their cooking. I'd like to THINK it wasn't true, and CERTAINLY wasn't true with a very good Chinese friend of mines family, who used to teach 'God' and I, the original Shaolin style Kung Fu! (THE ONLY authentic teacher of this in the southern hemisphere, despite what anyone may hear.)

BUT, I CAN verify that in KOREA, dog meat is available at some places and it'd called (in English) "special Meat", but it IS expensive and NO; I would NEVER support this abhorrent (to us westerners) act & likewise would never eat any (not that I was offered any either whilst there. SADLY, (and this REALLY doesn't belong in this thread!), I saw whilst walking around the outer cities, dogs actually locked up in cages with the sole purpose of being purchased by people to eat (Like you see chickens in a coupe, only the cages were barely 4 foot long and had several dogs in each)...I so badly wanted to open the cage and let them escape, but it was locked and I'd have been shot probably. It was VERY sad to see though...

In Malaysia and Indonesia too I understand, one of their 'delicacies' is Monkey brains. I WON'T tell you here, the mechanics of how it is served as it's far too disturbing, but the monkey is ALIVE at the beginning.

NOW can we please go back to corvettes, as this has made me very sad?
