Geez Nifty, just as well ya got a tough truck there, was expecting worse damage than that
Try googling your model/make for aprts in aust. I'm sure that there is a Nissan 4x4 wreckers in Melbourne who'd have what you need, also check on Gumtree and Ebay! :o :)

managed to find a brand new headlight for 95 bucks.. paid for it, and was ordered from qld... cept 20 mins later the shop rings me with bad news.. they dont have one in stock.. and will take 2-3 MONTHS to get one.. bugga that..
found a 2nd hand one in qld, for 77, and 22.50 delivery..

found one in adelaide, stil in car froma wreckers.. laughed at him when he said the price was 132.50 for a 2nd hand unit.. PLUS deleivery.. the owner used to own a corvette... but now owns 2 ferraris so buisness must be good.. im not that dumb though..
found a close one that will be hear quicker for 110 deliever with a warrenty..

new parking light and blinker ordered..

got mate around tonight , whos a paint and panel guy,,, he did the finishing beating to get pretty damn good.. his experience in panel work told him i bloody hit that mongrel roo pretty hard.. did a lot of bending in the inner structure.. but we managed to get it mostly in line again..

its looking damn good if i do say so...

not a big fan of roo bars.. have seen them cause just as much damage, and sometimes MORE damage to the structure.. the nudge bar is only really there to mount the spotties and rod rack for my surf rods

hope so.. theres a plastic bracket to hold the flare on, thats gone... snapped off.. mates going to plastic weld a piece on tomorrow so that can be mounted up solid.. still ahve a bit of paint left from the respray i did a few yrs ago so will give the stressed area a new lick when everythings in place and a few more dents pulled out.. i was seriosuly thinking it would be a lost cause... everything behind the lights, grill, bumper and panel was pretty much bent out of shape... i hit the roo bloody hard.. but its coming together far better than i thought it would..

most crash shops wouldn't have had a quick turn around time like you've had :-x

but more importantly, did you get an good lightening photos? :x-

hahahaha.. finding a decent roobar for it is the problem... not really a fan of big roo bars though.. have seen the damage they can cause to the undercarraige .... work ute hit one a few mths ago.. new hilux.. ripped the bolts clean off the bar underneath and the bar went under the car, driven over and smashed the sump up .wonder it didnt do any more damage.. but the new hilux isnt unbreakalbe by any means.. we think they are a piece of crap.. the old ones were far tougher

headlight didnt arrive.. so to keep the boys in blue off my arse ive put an old light a mate lent me in.. nothing lines up, so fishing line it is... hahaha.. until i can get to shop tomorrow and buy some decent tie wire to hold it in place snug.. it shines about 3 ft in front of me but its legal if cops dont look too hard....

Good on ya Nev!
I had an 80 Cadillac a few years back, hit a deer with the right front corner.
Took off all the righthand lighting. Put on a section of strap steel horizontally. Installed a Harley turn signal and Harley Headlight to the Strap.
Drove it for over a year and sold it that way!

thats the go doc.. i should really update.. this thing is 21yr old and has 348*** on the clock.. 2.7 turbo diesel.. its slow, aircon not the best... heater is awesome.. but honestly? I LOVE IT... if i want to go on a 2000km drive, i wouldnt even open the bonnet to check fluids.. trust it fully.. never let me down yet ( touch wood)
not often ive owned a car that i trust like this... once bought a ford telstar.. had 45,ooo on clock.. got to 50k on on, and shit the head... worst car ive ever owned
