Hi all, I am from Adelaide and just joined the forum. I have just purchased a 1958 Corvette in the US. The car will need a complete restoration when it gets here and I am hoping to learn a lot from you all during the restoration process. I will post some pics when I can but thought I would introduce myself first.

Welcome mate. Must say although the 68/69s are my favourite vettes, if I had the cash then a '58 is next on my list.

Unfortunately I have had to pass this car up now. If anyone is interested in it the contact Matt from Shermatt. He is an aussie based in Forida and has a business with wife Sheri sourcing cars and sending them to Australia. His website is here:

Pics of the car are here:

Hi all, its been a while. I originally joined the forum when I was purchasing a 58 Corvette but the sale never went through in the end. However, in 2015 I ended up with a restored 63 convertible in sebring silver. I have posted some pics in the C2 photographs thread. It is a great car to drive and I love the 4 speed gearbox in it.
