New C7 for Brisbane owner

Postby LRC89 » Sun Apr 27, 2014 3:53 am

A member of QCC has just taken delivery of his new C7.

He's a New Zealand citizen and has been able to import the car into the land of the long white cloud left hand drive, compliance and register then ship to Australia on a two year holiday permit. Can happily register and drive in Australia left hook but must ship it back to NZ every two years.

Much cheaper and quicker to ship between here and NZ every couple of years than have the car converted.

Love to see a man with a creative problem solving mind. :D

Looking forward to seeing the beast at the next club run. :C

Theres an american driving around here in a new C6 that he brought over with him from the states. He has a two year approval for his car still in LHD , after the two years is up he will reapply for another two years which he will get .

Its because he,s on a working visa for 4 years here , he has been told he has to take the car home with him when he goes back .

He paid 40 something K for it in US ,im sure he will sell it here before he goes :-x

he drove it over from WA to the nationals at easter on trade plates.
