Well here's the question, it works out that i can hire a C6 convertible for 180ish bucks for 24 hours with ensurance and all included.... but depends on availability.... do you guys think this is worth it?

Hells Bells; I was just thinking of looking into A.C.A. CAPS yesterday, but then realised that the vast majority of our club members, won't even fork out $25 for a windscreen sticker, AT COST!

Change THAT balance and we’ll look at clothing!

So youd go if Nifty or MAXXy were going, but i dont count? :-x

We have discussed the windscreen sticker, and you know my stance on winscreen stickers of the sort, since its not the factory "CORVETTE" windscreen sticker (such as was fitted to my 87), my car sharnt be wearing one. Ill put a smaller version on the inside of my rear window along the side, but not on the windscreen. Its got nothing to do with the cost, they simply dont suit the car. (in my opinion, and with my car, that happens to be all that counts)

Ill have the MAXX WRENCH cap on, so its down to t-shirts!!! :o

:-x ...Now why did I expect THAT Case!? :-x - YES you count!

If I can get a few people to stand guard near the car I'll consider it; Took 'God' for a ride yesterday so we could get a burger and later found some small (but deep) scratches on rear spoiler edge - the car attracted a big crowd, so even though we kept our eye on it, someone must've walked too close to it and I'm guessing a belt buckle did the damage...That’s the problem with such a deep paint job; its very vulnerable & not as if you can walk into repco and buy colour matching touch-up paint. (Closest option is actually nail polish, plus it fills as well).

You wonder why I'm reluctant to show the car! I understand fully now why 'outlaw' so very rarely ever did so; it simply isn't worth getting damaged to please a crowd of strangers : YOU GUYS can see it privately anytime. :o

I could always just take the snow dragon and enter it as being in ‘race trim’ (Since I STILL haven’t put the new carpet in!!!)

As for windscreen stickers; yes I understand and I really must get off my butt and have our printers do a smaller version...SOON!
:D

Ill tell ya what mate, i have from the Wednesday (4th of July) all the way to the 8th before i have to return to work, so its not trouble for me to roll on down to give you a hand putting that C4 back together and get it looking great if youd rather take that. Im only too happy to do that for ya mate :o

If not, youll probably find that i very rarely leave my car anyway, LRC will also be present, and you could always put up some of that "POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS" tape around the car too.... :-x

I didnt say take both, i said take one or the other. I dont see how you can drive 2 at a time anyway.

I have no idea why youd be so worried about it anyway, no one will touch it. No one has done any harm to either of my Corvettes in the past 8 years, and that was before i watched "The Secret". No one is going to touch your car, youre stressed about nothing. If youre that concerned its very simple, dont bring it, bring the 85.
