If You go on you tube and put in Muffler Eliminators there are 10 or more vids on people running their cars with straight pipes ,

Now that big cat in the middle of the Exhaust their is a metal tube that runs up in to the engine bay what is it for, dose anyone know ? can I remove that as well

I think thats the pipe the air pump pushes air down to make the cats react hotter so they work better. Anyway mine had that pump removed as well before it went over the pits and with that pipe so obviously hacked off and sealed up but no-one said anything.

Hi Nutty, 2 things. First, The jacket for sale.
You should really start a new thread in the members market section.
Also when you post up photos of a show or event you attended, you should post them up in the "Events" section. Your thread really jumps around Mate. And your Jacket would get more people seeing it if it were in the correct place.
Your question about the Air pipe to the cat, Yes it is for sending air into the cat. Can you remove the Cat altogether? Yes. Is that strictly legal? No.
But I haven't seen a Emission test center in all my time in Oz.

Me, I'cut if off close to the cat and weld it shut. I don't think you have a After Cat 02 sensor on that year. But if you do, you might wish to unplug it and put a 02 sensor eliminator resistor on the line. (so it doesn't throw a code).

Yes There on ongoing project. Money, well Mate, ya can't take it with you.
As one wise man said, Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy a Corvette, and that's damn close!
